We planned a trip to Korafakkan for a single day on, and we all were interested much as it was for the first time the journey towards Fujairah and Korfakkan 07, Apr 2007. Plan was to enjoy the really nice beach of Fujairah full day, and all were there, Sajish, Rajish, Jabbar, Xavier, Abdullah, Binoy, Samy, Hashim. Sanjog and Sheetal joined us on the way.

We took the direct Fujairah root through Dibba and touching the Fujairah city and diverting to Korfakkan which was around 130km.

We have prepared food and taken along with us and Sanjog Family joined with us before reaching Fujairah Friday Market. As the view was very nice, with all sides mountains. We spend some 30mins there.

As it was a Friday and needs to go for prayer, we took a small halt at Fujairah, we started from there after 45mins and reached Fujairah.

Our initial plan was to explore the nice beach, but as we were roaming some boat operators came and we just enquired any nice places they can take us, they were operating till the PARADISE ISLAND, we were hearing that name for the first time, all were interested and we just made a bargain, he finally agreed on AED 200.00, they will drop us and come after 90 mins so we can enjoy more than an hour.

Shalini and Hassan joined us on a short notice call at Fujairah and the quorum was full.

Onboard – Trip to Paradise Island

Some great moments enroute the island, we all were enjoying the speed boat ride, by placing hands and legs outside of the boat, the island was around 2-3 kms far from the shore and as we were reaching near the island, the boat driver has to be careful and there were stones and lesser depth areas which he avoided nicely.

At the island we really enjoyed the time spent, some were swimming while exploring the total small area and some other watching the sea life. I was just wondering were to shoot, Samy has captured most of the shots, some was taken by Xavier also. We went to the top of the rocks and also to the other side, the total area of the island was very less. We so many tourist enjoying the scuba dive and some trying fishing luck.
